Prenatal Support

Our prenatal support services are designed to prepare
you for a positive and empowering birth experience.

  • Prenatal Visits: We will meet during pregnancy. This usually happens around 27 weeks and 36 weeks. These meetings will allow us an opportunity to get to know each other.
  • Personalized sessions we will discuss birth preferences, comfort measures, and address any concerns or questions.
  • Prepare for the postpartum period.
  • 24/7 Phone and Email Support: Ongoing support to answer your questions and provide reassurance as your due date approaches.

Labor & Birth Support


I offer comprehensive support during labor and birth to ensure you feel confident and well-supported throughout the process:
  • On-call starting at 37 weeks and I am available via phone and text.
  • Continuous Labor Support: Physical, emotional, and informational support from the onset of labor until after the birth of your baby.
  • Comfort Measures: Assistance with various comfort techniques, such as breathing exercises, positioning, massage, and the use of birth balls.
  • Advocacy: Support in communicating your birth preferences to the medical staff and helping you navigate any decisions during labor.
  • Partner Support: Guidance for your partner to help them support you effectively during labor.

Postpartum Support


My postpartum services focus on helping you transition smoothly into parenthood:

  • Postpartum Visits: In-home visits to assist with newborn care, breastfeeding support, and emotional well-being. Typically scheduled post delivery.
  • Infant Care Education: Guidance on newborn care practices, such as bathing, diapering, and soothing techniques.
  • Emotional Support: Listening and providing support for any emotional challenges you may face during the postpartum period.
  • Resource Referrals: Recommendations for local support groups, lactation consultants, pediatricians, and other postpartum resources.

  • Breastfeeding Counseling: Personalized assistance with breastfeeding techniques and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Childbirth Education Classes: Group or private classes covering various childbirth topics to prepare you and your partner for labor and delivery.
  • Postpartum Doula Services: Extended support beyond the initial postpartum period, including baby care, baby laundry, baby dishes, and light meal prep.
